Experiencing Stress
Understand how
specific natural
Vitamins, Minerals and Adaptogenic Herbs can
support you during stressful times in your life.
Dear
Friend:
I'm Bob Miller, a
Traditional Naturopath, from Ephrata, PA. Every day, I
work clients in my office to help them find ways to use
natural herbal products to deal with the negative
effects of stress.
When you are under
stress, you have very specific nutritional needs. When
under stress, many nutrients are depleted.

To
help people under stress, I developed my own "Tranquilities" line of twelve vitamin and
herbal products to provide unique nutritional support
for persons experiencing stress.
I picked the
supplements that address the most common concerns with
stress. On this page, I will help you understand these
supplements and how they may help you during your time
of stress.

three phases of stress and how these nutritional and herbal products

GABA 500 mg + B-6 2 mg

GABA (gamma
aminobutyric acid)
is a
non-essential amino acid found mainly in the human brain
and eyes. It is considered an inhibitory
neurotransmitter, which means it regulates brain and
nerve cell activity by inhibiting the number
of neurons firing in the brain.
GABA is referred to as the brain's
natural calming agent. By inhibiting over-stimulation of
the brain, GABA may help promote relaxation and ease
nervous tension.
Gaba is considered a Nervine, which
strengthens the nervous system, inhibits the sympathetic
nerves and stimulates parasympathetic nerves to have a
calming or relaxing effect. This would be appropriate to
use in Phase 1 and the early stages of phase 2 stress
response.
Historical
and Traditional Uses: anxiety, poor concentration.
This would be appropriate to use in Phase
1 and the early stages of phase 2 stress response. Click

tried Kava yet?
Since its introduction, users have raved
over this 100% organic sedative herb, and its ability to

power from high concentrations of kavalactones present
in the plant’s thick roots.
Kavalactones have been shown in many
studies to promote a calming effect on the body’s limbic
system – a region of the brain that regulates emotion.
Kava-Kava is known to have the properties
of antispasmodic (relaxes muscles) relaxant and
sedative.

This herb could be used in all phases of stress, since
it both builds you up and relaxes at the same time.

If
you are finding yourself under any kind of stress, (low,
moderate or severe) more nutrition than a multiple
vitamin can provide may be necessary.
Royal Jelly 1000 mg - 60 Gels
Royal
Jelly is a natural source of many nutrients. Royal
Jelly is the only food for the Queen Bee, and it enables
her to outlive worker bees thirty fold!
The
Queen Bee is also very fertile, laying up to 2,000 eggs
each day throughout her life.
The
exclusive food of the queen bee is often referred to as
the longevity food since the queen bee, although
genetically identical to worker bees, outlives them by a
factor of 40 to 1.
This food contains the greatest known concentration of
pantothenic acid, the anti aging vitamin, which may
reverse imbalances in the body's chemistry.
Hormonal and chemical imbalances may be causes of
stress, anxiety, and overeating.
Some of the nutrients in Royal Jelly are:
-
B
complex vitamins
-
Amino acids (building blocks of protein)
-
Minerals like calcium, magnesium, potassium, and
zinc
These nutrients, along with the other elements of Royal
Jelly are in perfect balance because they are naturally
occurring, the way nature intended.
One of the reasons Royal Jelly is so precious is it
can't be duplicated in a laboratory; it can only be hand
harvested from beehives.
Do
not use if allergic to bees or allergic reactions to bee
stings.
